Bass announces 2018-19 season

Broadway in Austin presented by Texas Performing Arts announced the seven-show 2018-2019 Season, including the anchor "Hamilton" playing its Austin engagement May 28 – June 16, 2019. The new season represents a wide range of Tony Award winners and five premieres for Austin audiences to enjoy.

This season offers the only national touring Broadway series in Austin. “We have been building up to this season since 'Hamilton' opened on Broadway. We’re thrilled it’s finally coming to Austin,” says Kathy Panoff, Texas Performing Arts director and associate dean. “We are also very excited to have 'Anastasia' on the season as well as 'The Play That Goes Wrong,' hailed by Huffpost as ‘the funniest play Broadway has ever seen!'"

Season subscribers enjoy the best seats in the house for Broadway hits all season long, plus the option to purchase additional tickets to select shows before the general public. Subscribers also receive great benefits including ticket exchange and replacement services, the opportunity to request a seating upgrade for the season ahead, and much more. The renewal deadline for current subscribers is March 27.

The seven-show subscription package includes: "The Play That Goes Wrong," from Oct. 23-28, 2018; "Love Never Dies," the sequel to "Phantom of the Opera," from Nov. 27- Dec. 2, 2018; "Waitress," from Jan. 22-27, 2019; "Anastasia," from Feb. 12-17, 2019, "Fiddler on the Roof," from April 2-7, 2019; "Cats," from May 7-12, 2019; and "Hamilton," from May 28 to June 16, 2019.

Season subscriptions are on sale now. The seven-show season package starts at $224.
