The Journey Continues: The Refuge of Lord's Word

Sunday, September 16, 2018

My journey this week reminded me that the Lord’s word is our refuge and strength.

“Trust in him at all times, you people, pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge." Psalm 62:8

For a handy reference, place a copy in your Bible, and also post it at your workplace.

You Say:

  • "It's impossible."
  • "I'm too tired."
  • "Nobody really loves me."
  • "I can't go on."
  • "I can't figure things out."
  • "I can't do it."
  • "I'm not able."
  • "It's not worth it."
  • "I can't forgive myself."
  • "I can't manage."
  • "I'm afraid."
  • "I'm not smart enough."
  • "I feel all alone."
  • "I'm always frustrated and worried."

God Says:

  • All things are possible. (Luke 18:27)
  • I will give you rest. (Matthew 11:28-30
  • I love you. (John 3:16 & John 3:34)
  • My grace is sufficient. (Psalm 91 :15)
  • I will direct your steps. (Proverbs 3:5-6)
  • You can do all things. (Philippians 4:13)
  • I am able. (II Corinthians 9:8)
  • It will be worth it. (Romans 8:28)
  • I forgive you. ( 1 John 1 :9)
  • I will supply all your needs. (Philippians 4:19)
  • I have not given you a spirit of fear. (II Timothy 1:7)
  • I give you wisdom. (I Corinthians 1:30)
  • I will never leave you or forsake you. (Hebrews 13:5)
  • Cast all your cares upon me. (I Peter 5:7)
