Wine & Wassail while you walk

Mark and Vickye Lambdin enjoy a glass of wine at KnD’s Resale and More during the annual Wine and Wassail Walk in downtown San Marcos.

Carol Schwartz uses a small ceramic cup to pour a glass of spiked wassail for wassailers at 218 Co-op Gallery. Local businesses provided wassail and wine for guests while restaurants, bars and late night eateries provided snacks for the event.

Attendees line up as Paper Bear owner Carol Powers and employee Anna Lucko hand out wine and wassail.

Local artist Ty Johnson made an appearance at Paper Bear during the event sporting his official ugly Christmas sweater complete with decorative epaulettes.

The Happy Painter owner Genevieve Nino ladles up a glass of wassail garnished with festive sliced apples and cranberries for a guest.

Local artist Rene Perez works on a painting of a heron on a unicycle outside Blue Dahlia Bistro during the event.
