The Journey Continues: Veterans Patrol

My journey this week is a return visit to the Veterans Patrol, a faithbased organization in San Marcos with the mission of “Veterans standing together in faith to support each other for inner peace.” Veterans share a camaraderie and warmth of brotherhood when they meet. I always say, “I know your heart due to our unique military experiences.”

First off, let me make you a red-hot offer. I have a big bush just off my back bedroom deck and it is covered in tiny, BB-sized red and orange peppers. Chili pequins.

Cool Wave Pansies: New dimensions to mixed containers

During the summer, we think of flowers like petunias as those fragrant, spilling or tumbling flowers cascading over the rims of baskets and mixed containers. That same show of incredible color coupled with tantalizing fragrance can be achieved during the cool season with pansies like those of the Cool Wave series.

With the help of Texas State alumnus Devante Sanders, barbers and hairstylists can now receive supplies and products needed at the same convenience.
