There may be little time in the schedule to prepare homemade breakfasts and enjoy a leisurely morning meal on weekdays. But once the weekend arrives, home cooks can experiment with tasty treats that fill homes with decadent aromas and rouse late sleepers from their slumber.

Wallace Middle School student Vivian Spanswick recently fulfilled a dream of hers by attending Space Camp at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, Ala. Spanswick, along with other Team Phobos members, participated in a weeklong educational program promoting science, technology, engineering and math (STEM), while training students with hands-on activities and missions based on teamwork, leadership and problem solving.
In Old Town of North Columbus, the American Flag waves in the troughs that have Suncredible sunflowers, Supertunia Bordeaux, Luscious Citron lantana and Snow Princess lobularia.
In addition to pollinators if their children look closely, they just may see the small Green Anole lizards.
In the cool seasons these troughs are full of colorful leaved heucheras like Dolce Spearmint Primo Wild Rose and Double Play Candy Corn Spirea.
