Bobcat Pride Scholarship Fund will celebrate the generosity of its donors on Saturday, April 29 at Zelicks from 3 - 6 p.m. The event will feature live music by Zach Blue of the Ooey Gooeys, an art silent auction and giving three with a $1,500 matching gift and a short program at 4 p.m. highlighting donor impact accomplishments to the Jeremy O. Torres Emergency Stabilization Fund.
Pease Park Conservancy presents ‘Shakespeare’s Birthday Party: Sonnets’
The Bobcat Nation will soon gather for the 34th Annual Bobcat Bonanza, presented by Texas Regional Bank, on April 22.
The LBJ Museum of San Marcos will be hosting the 20th Annual LBJ Museum of San Marcos Ted Breihan Open Golf Tournament on Friday, April 21 at Kissing Tree Golf Club. The format of the tournament is a shotgun start and all proceeds benefit the museum. Registration begins at 7 a.m. with tee off at 8 a.m. concluding with lunch and raffle.
Lacey Fields has had an exciting year. In addition to attending classes at San Marcos Academy and completing all of the rites of passage that accompanies being a senior, she fulfilled the commitments to her crown as Texas Teen Miss Heart of the USA.
The Maurice T. Suttles VFW Auxiliary and students from First Step School made Easter cards for the Veterans at Brookdale Senior Living Retirement Community.
