Housing experts made it clear during a conversation hosted by the Greater San Marcos Partnership and San Marcos Area Chamber of Commerce on Thursday that housing options will have to change in order to serve more people in the San Marcos region.

Real estate development firm to construct new $11 million facility in San Marcos

A new $11 million, 135,000-square-foot speculative space facility will be constructed in San Marcos, the Greater San Marcos Partnership announced Monday.

Amazon announced Wednesday that it is creating a second facility in San Marcos, which is expected to bring "hundreds of jobs" and open by the end of 2021. Amazon officially announces new delivery station in San Marcos

San Marcos will soon have a second Amazon facility following an official announcement from the company on Wednesday.
