Day one of this year's Sights & Sounds of Christmas was one for the books. Santa Claus arrived on Ol' Betsy, a vintage 1926 fire engine that was restored by The Leadership San Marcos Class of 2015. Santa will keep to tradition and make his entrance in a different vehicle each night. In previous years, these entrances have included arrival by helicopter, firetrucks and even a canoe. Sights & Sounds continues this weekend through Dec. 1 and then resumes next week from Dec. 5 through Dec. 8. Daily Record photo by Lance Winter
