Governor shuts down bars, announces additional measures to stop COVID-19 spread

Gov. Greg Abbott reversed course Friday by scaling back restaurant capacity and shutting down bars throughout Texas for the second time amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

San Marcos residents and visitors took to the city’s river parks over the last week before they were closed for the second time amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
