Taking bike-sharing for a spin

Too much traffic and too few parking spaces should no longer present the problems they once did in San Marcos — not if you’re willing to put forth a little muscle power.

The speed limit on Hunter Road has been reduced from 40 mph to 30 mph between Jack’s Roadhouse and Wonder World Drive. The new signs were installed on Sept. 5. Inadvertent finds

The project was supposed to be routine — replacing a deteriorating water pipe between CM Allen Parkway and the San Marcos River to improve reliability and performance of the city’s system.

We will never forget

Seventeen years after a day most everyone who was alive then will never forget, people are still dying from the terror attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.
