Bruce Robison to come to San Marcos

Live music

Legendary Texas singer/songwriter and producer Bruce Robison will be in San Marcos performing at Cheatham Street Warehouse on Friday, March 31.

Additionally--we are excited to announce that Bruce will be releasing his new album next month, BRUCE ROBISON & THE BACK PORCH BAND, on Friday, April 28.

One of the most respected songwriters within the Country and Americana genres, Robison’s songs have become hits for George Strait (“Desperately”), Tim McGraw (“Angry All the Time”) and the Dixie Chicks (“Travelin’ Soldier”), to name a few.

Robison is also the mastermind behind The Next Waltz, a new web series and multi-platform music delivery concept created by Robison himself. The Next Waltz is a Social House. An incomparable hybrid of an artist community unfolding before your eyes online. It’s a hotbed of artist activity - original songs, cover songs, videos, studio sessions, live performances, conversations with artists and more. This unique site is a place to find integrity, quality – there chords and the truth. Where fans can engage in the creative process like never before. The Next Waltz harkens back to the days of Guy Clark and his wife Susanna providing a living, breathing space in which artists could thrive. With an understanding that community is everything, Robison has created a new space for artists to create and share directly with fans.

One visit to The Next Waltz will provide you with Jerry Jeff Walker discussing writing “Mr Bojangles,” an exclusive recording of Randy Rogers singing Merle Haggard’s "Misery and Gin," Turnpike Troubadours performing "Come As You Are,” or a conversation with Rodney Crowell talking to Bruce and Kelly about how he came to own one of John Lennon's suits.
