Antioch Church to host toy giveaway on Sunday

With the Christmas season around the corner, many individuals become overwhelmed when they are faced with the pressures of providing toys and gifts for the family. With this in mind, the Antioch Church of our Lord Jesus Christ, along with Precious Life Services, will be hosting a toy give away on Sunday, Dec. 23.

This year the Antioch Church is asking for assistance to meet their goal to provide toys for 200 boys and girls in the area, age 6 months to 17 years of age.

 Those who wish to donate can bring unwrapped new or gently-used toys to the church, located at 401 Centre Street, by Dec. 21. For more information about the toy drive call 512-353-7079.

Those that wish to receive toys can register online by completing a form at Antioch Church's. The registration deadline is Dec. 21. The day of distribution families must bring proof of residency – utility bills and leases that are in the families name – as well as each child’s birth certificate, drivers license or official state ID.
