BEC offices closing on Dec. 24,25

Thursday, December 20, 2018

Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative’s (BEC) offices will be closed Monday, Dec. 24, and Tuesday, Dec. 25, in observance of the Christmas holiday. BEC members can access their account information and make payments while the offices are closed through the co-op’s website at bluebonnet.coop.

BEC members can report power outages by calling 800-949-4414, or through the co-op’s mobile app or website at bluebonnet.coop. Should an outage occur, personnel will be on call Christmas Eve and Christmas Day to restore power as quickly and as safely as possible.

BEC is one of the largest electric cooperatives in Texas and has been serving its members since 1939. It serves more than 98,000 meters and owns and maintains 11,000 miles of power lines, located across more than 3,800 square miles within 14 Central Texas counties.

Bluebonnet’s service area stretches from Travis County to Washington County, and from Milam County to Gonzales County. For more information about Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative, go to Bluebonnet's website.
