Blue Dahlia Bistro hosts benefit for fire victims

Sunday, July 29, 2018

A line of people make their way down the silent auction tables full of goods donated by local businesses and community members at the Benefit Dinner in Blue Dahlia Bistro for victims of the recent fire at Iconic Village and Vintage Pad apartments. Through community efforts the dinner raised $10,070  to be given to the Blanco River Regional Recovery Team, which is handling the monetary donations for victims of the fire. For more ways to donate, visit www.sanmarcosrecord.com and click on the “Looking to help fire victims?” button. In addition to participating in the silent auction, patrons were encouraged to visit and grab a drink and a meal, as those proceeds also went toward the relief efforts
