Concerts to showcase Paradox set for Nov. 15-17

Texas State University’s Department of Theatre and Dance will present Paradox, a concert showcasing the choreography of BFA seniors Anais Gutierrez, Ashley Johnson, Nan Sims and Eliza Trevino on Nov. 15-17.

Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. each night in Evans Auditorium.

Paradox will include the final work of the BFA seniors. “Crowds of Zeal” is choreographed by Gutierrez in collaboration with dancers and non-dancers that vary from theatre majors, nursing majors, audio engineer and alumni; “An Ending… My Beginning” and “Everyone Brave is Forgiven” is choreographed by Johnson; a collaborative duet, “Hang Me Out To Dry,” is choreographed by Sims. Paradox will also include “Ebb and Flow,” originally choreographed and designed in 2017, and now reconstructed by choreographer Trevino and Projection Designer Maximilian Wallace.Tickets are $13 for adults, $10 for seniors and children and $8 for Texas State students with I.D. Tickets may be purchased online.
