Empty Bowls benefit tonight at AquaBrew

Tuesday, November 27, 2018

AquaBrew will host the annual Empty Bowl event, which benefits the Hays County Food Bank, tonight from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. as a part of #GivingTuesday.

San Marcos High School art students will have hand-crafted bowls available for purchase. Buy a bowl and get a bowl of chili. Chili will also be available for $5 for those who do not wish to purchase a ceramic bowl. Entertainment will be provided by the San Marcos High School Salsa, Mariachi and Jazz bands.

#GivingTuesday is a global day of giving that harnesses the collective power of individuals, communities and organizations to encourage philanthropy and to celebrate generosity worldwide.

If you are  a hands-on giver, Hays County Food Bank invites you to come out on Giving Tuesday and mingle with them and other food bank supporters.
