First day back

The first day of the new school year dawned Monday for SMCISD with parents taking their eager scholars to school. Brothers Andreas Lopez and Julio Jr. Lopez sported smart new looks for their first day in second and fifth grade at Crockett Elementary.

Monday was also the first day crossing guard Richard Davis who started his first day at Crockett Elementary helping parents and students cross the busy intersection outside the school safely.
