Memorial Service for Ken Copeland today

The public is invited to a remembrance ceremony today for the late San Marcos Police Officer Ken Copeland, who was killed in the line of duty on Dec. 4 of last year.
Sheriff Gary Cutler is playing host for the memorial, which will be held at 2 p.m. inside the Hays County Government Center, 712 South Stagecoach Trail.
Copeland was the first SMPD officer to lose his life in the line of duty.
