State association honors 2018 Chamber Guide for marketing
The San Marcos Area Chamber of Commerce was awarded second place for the San Marcos 2018 Chamber Welcome Guide in the Marketing Campaign category by the Texas Chambers of Commerce Executives (TCCE) at the TCCE Annual Conference in Grapevine, the Chamber learned last week.
Chambers from across the state of Texas convened June 19 for the TCCE Media Awards Dinner, where awards honor organizations for exceptional efforts in marketing, communications and media. Awards are judged in seven separate categories: Brochures; Directories/Magazines; Maps; Marketing Campaign; Newsletters; Social Media Campaign; and Websites.
“This award is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team,” Samantha Brown, vice president of Communications at the San Marcos Chamber, said. “It’s an honor to have our magazine and our efforts to promote our local businesses and quality of life recognized by our peers.”
This is the first TCCE Media Award the San Marcos Area Chamber has received in this category. The annual Chamber Guide is a joint venture with the San Marcos Daily Record.
