Weekend rains restore flow to Blanco River

Water was still flowing over the Blanco River Bridge on Post Road Monday, and vegetation in the formerly nearly dry waterway was still bent down by the force of the water. That’s a far cry from the same scene on Aug. 30. Some five inches of rain fell in San Marcos over the weekend and more than six inches were reported farther up the Blanco watershed.
