Zelicks Ice House joins Chamber Ambassadors for ribbon cutting

A ribbon cutting was held on Thurs. Oct. 18 for Zelicks Ice House. Zelicks was opened by brothers Chase and Seth Katz in 2011. The building was originally a 1930s gas station and is full of interesting and original design features, including old framed photos commemorating the life of Jack Zelick Katz, Seth and Chase’s grandfather as well as the bar’s namesake. Inside the garage is a full bar and also features patio-like outdoor seating with games like washers, horseshoes and cornhole. Zelicks is located at 336 W. Hopkins and may be reached at 512-757-8787.
