‘Family Night’ packs the grounds for Sights & Sounds of Christmas

Sights & Sounds of Christmas began its eight-day run Wednesday night and hundreds of local residents and visitors turned out for the annual festival. 

Grayden Martinez attracts the determined interest of several goats and a llama as he hands out his cup of feed at the Ponies & Pals Petting Zoo during the annual Sights & Sounds of Christmas festival. The Petting Zoo is a popular attraction among attendees young and old to brush, pet and feed the menagerie.

The bridge connecting the two sections of the Sights and Sounds of Christmas festival bustled with traffic as attendees traveled between the two sections.

The Collegiate Texas Music Educators of Texas State University ensemble perform “Fanfare for Christmas” by James Curnow on the main stage.

Attendees pass through Santa’s Gift Shop to look at booths filled with holiday and Christmas decor and gifts.
