Deadline for county art submissions is Friday

The Hays County Arts Committee is asking artists interested in having their works displayed at the Hays County Government Center to submit their proposals by Jan. 25. Artist and artist teams are welcome, and a variety of genres are welcome.

The Committee will hold a reception for the public to enjoy the new art on Jan. 31 at the Government Center, 712 S. Stagecoach Trail, San Marcos, from 6 to 8 p.m.
The Arts Committee’s Cultural Arts Program showcases local artistic endeavors to encourage public dialogue, understanding, and enjoyment of the visual arts.
