Friends of the Library hold annual spelling bee

The Friends of the San Marcos Public Library held its third annual Spelling Bee Thursday evening at AquaBrew. The San Marcos Daily Record’s Bee-Witched team with Robin Blackburn, Denise Cathey and Celeste Hollister came in first this year with accurate spelling of the word apparatchik.
