Dust from the Sahara Desert put a haze over San Marcos on Saturday. According to FEMA Strategic Planner Michael Lowery, the Saharan dust that traveled across the Atlantic Ocean is the most extreme outbreak recorded by the Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer satellite since 2002.
