Hundreds turn out to visit with firms that are hiring
Hundreds of local jobseekers visited the 45 companies participating in the 14th Annual Rotary Club Job Fair. The Job Fair was sponsored by the San Marcos Rotary Club, San Marcos Area Chamber of Commerce, Workforce Solutions Rural Capital Area, city of San Marcos, and the San Marcos Daily Record. The Rotary Club of Greater San Marcos held its 14th Annual San Marcos Job Fair Tuesday and while the turnout was lower than previous years, most of the employers felt they made good contact with the types of applicants they could use at businesses like Amazon, H-E-B, Academy and Goodwill.

Rotarian Lisa Brown said, “the Rotary loves hosting the job fair because Rotary thinks helping people get jobs is something that not only helps the person who finds a job, but also everyone in the new hire’s family and the entire community.”
Priority Personnel has been a regular at the Job Fair over the 14 years of the event and has helped hundreds of San Marcos residents find jobs. Pictured are Stephen Netardus and JoAn DeLeon with possible client Daniel Johns.
