Ozona Bank — a $247 million community bank — has a new home in San Marcos.

The bank opened its new branch in San Marcos on Monday, April 30, at 1917 Dutton Drive, including an ATM and branch service.

The branch will be led by Betsy Mosley, assistant cashier and San Marcos branch operations manager.

“We are excited about this move in San Marcos,” said Kelly Barclay, president and CEO. “The new space allows us to introduce improved technology, as well as better serve our customers in person. San Marcos is a vibrant community with a rich history and strong support for small businesses, and we are proud to be part of it.”

Headquartered in Ozona, Texas, Ozona Bank was founded in 1905 by a group of West Texas ranchers who wanted a local bank for their community. Direct descendants of the bank remain shareholders and directors, of the bank to this day. Since its founding over 110 years ago, Ozona Bank has expanded to locations in Wimberley, San Marcos and San Antonio. It is a full-service bank offering loan, deposit and investment services to its communities.
