San Marcos CISD middle schoolers shadow local businesses
San Marcos CISD middle schoolers had an opportunity to shadow local businesses on Friday.
The San Marcos Area Chamber of Commerce hosted its first Middle School Job Shadow Day. Local businesses participating in Friday’s job shadow day were Embassy Suites by Hilton San Marcos Hotel, Conference Center & Spa, Central Texas Medical Center, San Marcos Regional Airport and the Hays County Governmental Center.

The goal of Friday’s event was for students to gather a better understanding of their fields of interest and the skills needed to be successful in that field.
