Sheriff’s offices issues rabies alert in Wimberley

On Monday, a bat was picked up from 105 Ridge Oak Drive, Wimberley, Texas, 78676. The bat had positive contact with at least one dog at the residence. The bat was tested by the Department of State Health Services and was found to be Positive for the rabies virus.
