SMPD searches for bike bandits
The San Marcos Police Department is in search of two suspects who allegedly stole a bike from the El Camino Real neighborhood.
SMPD said in a Facebook post that the two suspects stole a girl’s bike off her front porch on Christmas.
“These Grinches were caught on the family’s Ring camera stealing a $100 aqua/purple kid’s bicycle on the night of Dec. 25, 2019,” SMPD said on social media.
Police said they are searching for two male suspects, one is 30-40 years old, slim build with a tattoo on his lower left tricep. The other suspect has a chinstrap beard.
