Sunshine Kids are in town

Young cancer patients from hospitals across the United States are attending the “28th Annual Sunshine Kids Texas Hill Country Adventure” through June 10 in the greater San Marcos area.

A total of 28 young cancer patients, ages 12 to 17, have been invited to attend. Just a few of the exciting events the kids will participate in include visiting Sea World and Schlitterbahn, tubing the San Marcos River, horseback riding and a police escorted ride to the Capitol.

This trip is provided free of charge for the children by The Sunshine Kids Foundation, a national, nonprofit organization dedicated to providing quality group activities for children with cancer.
