The Womens Chapter of the American G.I. Forum recently awarded Theresa Hobby for a generous gift for the annual AGIF fundraiser held last July. From left are State Chair Sylvia N. Garza, Hobby of the Houston-based Hobby Foundation, and Stella Rodriguez, state treasurer. The organization was able to award 25 students from san Marcos and Prairie Lea high schools. They also wanted to thank local supporters including Ernie’s Body Shop, Royal Cleaners, El Golfo Restaurant, Victory Cleaners, Don Lorenzo’s Restaurant, David Chui, Mr. Fly, N.V.O.P. of San Antonio, Frost Bank, Tex Mex Bar, Extreme Glamour Salon and Landis Shoe Repair.
