Wimberley fell short in the UIL 4A Division II State Championship game to Texarkana Pleasant Grove, 35-21, inside AT&T Stadium in Arlington. The Texans battled with the Hawks throughout the first half on Friday, seeing themselves tied at 14-14 midway through the second quarter.
