The San Marcos Ethics Commission issued a letter or reprimand after hearing a complaint filed against Parks and Recreation Board member Jordan Buckley by Park Ranger Loy Locke.

San Marcos mayor signs local state of disaster declaration amid winter weather

San Marcos Mayor Jane Hughson has signed a Declaration of Local State of Disaster with wintry precipitation expected Saturday night and throughout the weekend.

ICY ROADS: SMPD urges residents to stay home if possible

The San Marcos Police Department has responded to more than dozen auto accidents caused by icy roads Saturday morning.
