Dr. Brian N. Guenther was named President of San Marcos Academy by the Board of Trustees July 17 and will assume his duties on Aug. 1.

Getting around getting easier

San Marcos’ public transit system is growing along with the city’s population, and a partnership with Texas State could help meet the ridership’s needs more efficiently.

Dick's Classic Car Garage to close, morph to nonprofit

Many San Marcans remember Dick Burdick as an entrepreneur and collector of classic cars. Now, his memory will live on in the form of a nonprofit foundation focused on character-based education.
