For the first time and with the weather cooperating– even though it was chillier than normal, the San Marcos Police Department filled its parking lot with a bevy of vehicles and volunteers offering treats for Tuesday's Halloween Trunk Or Treat celebration. Return to Stage 3 critical period management is announced

The Edwards Aquifer Authority on Thursday declared a decrease to Stage 3 Critical Period Management permit reductions for counties under the purview of the Edwards Aquifer Authority–including Atascosa, Bexar, Caldwell, Comal, Guadalupe, Hays, and Medina counties within the San Antonio Pool as of Wednesday, Nov 1.

Youth Tour program is now accepting 2024 applications

Since 1966, Pedernales Electric Cooperative has participated in the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association’s Youth Tour program. This year, PEC stated it looks forward to selecting 10 high school students to attend the trip of a lifetime in Washington, D.C. where they will join more than 1,500 students from electric cooperatives across the country. PEC Youth Tour delegates will visit historical sites, meet their representatives and create lifelong friendships.
