A local San Marcos business is helping the community by building protective partitions to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Joel Lamont Torres, 21, was arrested for allegedly racing on Interstate 35 after his 2014 Nissan 370Z was involved in a rollover crash which caused critical injuries to the passanger Jerrinque Lamiya Wilson, 20, who was ejected from the vehicle.
Highway racing was involved in a rollover crash on southbound Interstate 35 near the Posey Road exit that resulted in critical injuries, according to the San Marcos Police Department.
