Our beloved Alejandro Zuniga Cruz, Jr., age 72, resident of San Marcos, Texas was called by our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, June 1, 2021

Alejandro was preceded in death by his father: Alejandro B. Cruz, Sr., sister: Mary Lou C. Montoya and brother: Juan Manuel Cruz.

He is survived by his son: Alejandro Cruz III & Pamela Deleon; daughters: Becky Cruz and Laura Cruz; mother: Apolonia Z. Cruz, brothers: Cleofas Cruz and Jesse E. Cruz; sisters Ofelia “Rita” C. Torres, Josie Cruz, Lydia C. Mendoza and Es ter Cruz; grandchildren: Nicholas Cruz, Yasmine Cruz, Alejandro Christian Cruz, Destiney Apolonia Cruz, Pearl Reyes, Fabian Sandoval, Adriana Sandoval, Briana Sandoval Rosalind Ramirez and Damian Gonzales; 7 great grandchildren; and other family members and friends.

DUE TO COVID-19 … CERTAIN RULES STILL APPLY … (MASKS WILL BE ENFORCED!!) Visitation will begin at -7 p.m., Monday, June 7, 2021 with Recitation of Holy Rosary held at 7 p.m., at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 310 Lockhart St., Martindale, Texas. Tuesday Morning Visitation will begin at 8:30 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial held at 10 a.m., Rev. Father Rafael Padilla will officiate. Interment will follow at JFK Cemetery in Martindale, Texas.

Serving as Pall Bearers: Raul Gomez, Jose Perez, Lorenzo Cruz, Ignacio Guerrero, Johnathon Garcia and Joe Chavez.
