Alfred ‘Freddie’ Carrillo Guerrero

Alfred “Freddie” Carrillo Guerrero, 70, of San Marcos passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 10, in Austin.  He was born in San Marcos on May 17, 1948 to Elida Guerrero Rios.

He is predeceased by his mother, first wife Olga Garza Guerrero, brothers Robert and Eddie Rios and sister Mary Prado.

He is survived by wife Manuela; sons Mark Guerrero and Michael Bazan; daughters Clarissa Guerrero (Luis Rosales) and Kellie Rodriguez (Enrique); grandchildren Ciara and Zack Perez, Lucas Rosales and Devin and Brooke Rodriguez; brothers Joe Guerrero and  Guillermo Rios and sisters Josie Guerrero and Gloria Gonzales (David).  Also left to cherish his memories are numerous family and friends.

Visitation will take place at Thomason Funeral Home, Thursday, March 14, from 3 to 5:30 p.m.  Recitation of the Holy Rosary at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Martindale, at 7 p.m.  Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. Friday, March 15, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church.  Interment to follow at San Marcos City Cemetery.  Rev. Rafael Padilla will be the celebrant.
