Benito Juarez Rodriguez

Our beloved angel Benito Juarez Rodriguez, 76, received his wings on Nov. 11, 2018. He was born March 21, 1942, in Lockhart, Texas, to Martin and Brijida (Juarez) Rodriguez. Benito will always be remembered as a hardworking man who was always eager to help others. He was a loving and caring husband, a wonderful father, grandfather, and father-in-law. Benito is preceded in death by his parents; his sisters Dolores R. Rocha, Alejandra R. Mendez, Francisca R. Reyna, Felicita R. Zuniga; his brothers Angel Rodriguez and Pedro Rodriguez.

He is survived by his wife Angelita Rodriguez; his children James A. Rodriguez, Brenda L. Martinez, Adrian A. Rodriguez, and JoAnn A. Pereda. Benito is also survived by his grandchildren Chelsy Martinez, Brian Martinez, Melicia C. Pereda, Jasmyn A. Rodriguez, Braeden J. Pereda, Jessie J. Rodriguez, and Alex J. Rodriguez; his brothers and sisters Abraham Rodriguez, Mary R. Clark, and Jessie Mendez.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2018, from 1 until 9 p.m. at Thomason Funeral Home in San Marcos. A Rosary will be recited that evening at 7 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Mass will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 15, 2018, at St. John’s Catholic Church in San Marcos. Burial will follow at Memory Lawn Memorial Park in Martindale, Texas.
