Boyce “Lynn” Atkinson

Boyce “Lynn” Atkinson, age 79, passed away on Feb 11, 2019. He passed away peacefully in his sleep at home. Lynn’s father, Elvin Findley Atkinson, his mother, Iris Estelle Atkinson and Grandparents preceded him in death. 

In 1976, two hearts became one. Lynn is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Shirley Ann Atkinson. He is also survived by his brother, Wayne Atkinson and his wife Linda Atkinson,  along with his son, Ira “Lee” Benjamins and his wife Laura Benjamins and granddaughter, Emerson Benjamins and granddaughter, Erin Benjamins.  Lynn was loved and admired by so many friends and extended family for his honesty and devotion to those he held in his heart and loved. Lynn also had such a love for all animals. He was a kind, gentle, compassionate and passionate man. The world’s loss is heaven’s gain now.

Memorial service will be held at Mission Fellowship Church, 200 North San Marcos Street,  Buda, Texas 78610 at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 13th, 2019. In lieu of flowers please feel free to donate to any women’s shelter, homeless shelter or charity of your choice.
