Johnny Espinoza, Jr. "JJ" of San Marcos, Texas died on September 14, 2019. He was born on November 20, 1966. He is survived by his parents Johnny and Vicky Espinoza and son, Jeremy Espinoza of San Marcos, Texas. Two sisters, Diana (Vincent) Gonzalez of San Antonio, Texas and Brenda (Vicky) Espinoza of San Marcos, Texas. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews who loved him very much.
Upon graduation from high school JJ served in the U.S. Navy
JJ will be remembered for his faith and sense of humor.
Arrangements are under Thomason Funeral Home, 2001 Old Ranch Road 12, San Marcos, Texas. Viewing will be held on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 from 4-9 p.m. Rosary will be at 7 p.m.
Mass will be at St. John's Catholic Church on Thursday, September 19, 2019 at 10 a.m. There will be a final viewing from 9-10 a.m. at the church.
Pallbearers will be: Brandon Rodriguez, Nicholas Gonzalez, Gabriel Gonzalez, Vincent Gonzalez, John Paul Delgado and Xavier Vasquez. Honorary Pallbearer: Jeremy Espinoza.
In keeping with his wishes Johnny will be cremated and his ashes buried with full military honors at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio on Monday, September 30, 2019, at 11:30 a.m. For more information and to sign the online guest registry.
