Our beloved Juan Manuel Cruz, Sr., Age 70, resident of San Marcos, Texas was called home by our Heavenly Father on Monday, May 17, 2021.

Juan was preceded in death by his father: Alejandro B. Cruz, Sr.; grandchild; Phillip Medellin; brother; Alejandro Crus, Jr. and sister; Mary Lou C, Montoya.

He is survived by his son: Juan Manuel & Melissa Medellin; mother: Apolonia Z. Cruz; brothers: Cleofas Cruz and Jesse E. Cruz; sisters: Ofelia “Rita” C. Torres, Josie Cruz, Lydia C. Mendoza and Ester Cruz; grandchildren: Isaiah Medellin, Rebecca Medellin, Mark Anthony Medellin, Elijio Muscrove, John Medellin and Theresa Medellin; grandchildren: Valerie Gonzales, Mark Henry Espinoza, Emma Medellin, Madeline Medellin and Noah Medellin; and with other family members and friends.

DUE TO COVID-19 … CERTAIN RULES STILL APPLY … (MASKS WILL BE ENFORCED!!) Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., Monday, June 7, 2021 with Recitation of Holy Rosary held at 7:00 p.m., at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 310 Lockhart St., Martindale, Texas. Tuesday Morning Visitation will begin at 8:30 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial held at 10 a.m., Rev. Father Rafael Padilla will officiate. Interment will follow at JFK Cemetery in Martindale, Texas.

Serving as Pall Bearers: Robert Cruz, Nicolas Cruz, Jose Flores, Mark Vasquez, Adrian Vasquez and John Medellin.
