Kyle Mitchell Potter Burns

Kyle Mitchell Potter Burns was born in San Marcos on Oct. 18, 1990. He died on the evening of March 4, 2019 after a long and hard fought battle with the disease of addiction. The son of Mary Elizabeth (Liz) and Todd Winn Burns (Brent Potter, birth father).

Kyle attended High School in Flatonia.

Kyle enjoyed playing and listening to music, skateboarding, drawing, and hanging out with his friends and family.

He adored his three sisters, Katelyn Burns, Victoria Burns and June Potter. He and his mother had a special relationship and his passing has left a hole in her heart that will never completely fill.

Kyle is survived by his grandmothers, Mary Garcia and Reba Burns; and his grandfather, Pierce Burns; uncles, Rudy Garcia and Pierce Burns, Jr and aunts, Belinda Garcia and Beth Burns. He is also survived by many other family members and friends, including some still fighting addiction who will always keep him alive in their thoughts and memories.

Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.

We love you Kyle, unconditionally. We will miss you dearly.
