Mary Kathryn Williams 

Mary Kathryn Williams of Canyon Lake, Texas passed away on Thursday, Sept. 6, 2018, at the age of 89. She was born in Union, Mississippi to John Wilson and Mabel Clair (Dollar) Corpier on Jan. 17, 1929.

Her parents, and her husband, Lt. Col. Earl T. Williams (Ret.) (2004) and son, Mark Soechting, preceded her in death.

She is survived by her children, K’Lynn Corpier and husband David Somach, Paul Soechting and wife Mary, Donald Soechting and wife Julie, Charles Soechting and wife Elizabeth, and Gregory Soechting and wife Kim. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Family will receive friends at Pennington Funeral Home, 5 to 6:30 p.m., on Sunday, Sept. 16, 2018.

Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m.., on Monday, Sept. 17, 2018, at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, where she will be laid to rest with her late husband, Earl T. Williams. 

Serving as pallbearers will be Paul Soechting, Don Soechting, Charles Soechting, Greg Soechting, Todd Soechting, Charlie Soechting, Geoff Soechting and Dennis Hermes.
