Mary Virginia Reeves

Mary Virginia Reeves was called to rest on March 15, 2019, at the age of 87. Mary was born July 1, 1931 in Corsicana, Texas to Richard (Bud) Holloway and Mitty Mae Petty. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Chester Murrel Reeves and son Billy Murrel Reeves. 

Mary was very active in her San Marcos community in her working years. She and her husband owned and operated the Heritage House restaurant in the 60s and 70s and later she ran the daily child care program for the First Baptist Church in San Marcos. She loved people and never was afraid to speak her 2 cents. Mary stayed very active during her retirement years as she enjoyed traveling, camping at the lake in her travel trailer and just getting out and seeing new things. 

She is survived by son Vernon (Coach) Farmer, daughter Carolyn Gilmore and son in law Terry Gilmore. Grandson Tanner Reeves, wife Tiana Reeves and great grand children TK, Tru Reeves. Grandson Zachary Gilmore, wife Melissa Gilmore and great children Deyanira, Yancey, Zayne, Niza and Binny. 

Grandma, we miss you but know your smiling along side granddaddy and Billy. 

Funeral Services are provided by Thomason Funeral home in San Marcos, Texas with a private graveside service being held in Hutto, Texas.
