Michael Garza Silguero

Michael Garza Silguero, 59, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 25, 2019. He was born November 16, 1959, in San Marcos, Texas.  He will be remembered as a kind-hearted, fun loving, and hard-working individual who loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them at gatherings and celebrations. Mike was very considerate and compassionate always helping others in need. For many years, he delivered Meals on Wheels to the elderly in the Austin area. Mike was a devoted son, brother, spouse, father, uncle, and friend.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Genaro and Manuela Garza Silguero, his brothers, George and Adolfo Silguero, and his sister Rosie Silguero.  He is survived by his son Jeremiah Silguero, his wife Frances Silguero, two brothers, Jesse Silguero and Paul Silguero (Lisa), two sisters, Margie Silguero and Elizabeth Hernandez (Chon), two nephews, Issac “Bob” and Robert, four nieces Celina (Sare, Luca, Michael), Samantha, Gabrielle, and Vanessa.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 30, 2019, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Thomason Funeral Home in San Marcos, Texas, with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. that evening.  A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 31, 2019, at St. John’s Catholic Church in San Marcos, Texas.  Burial will follow at Memory Lawn Memorial Park in Martindale, Texas.  For more information and to sign the online guest registry please visit Thomason Funeral Home's website.
