Robert (Bob) Jones 

Robert (Bob) Jones, beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle and a friend to many, passed away at his home in San Marcos, Texas on Monday, October 8, 2018.  Robert was born on September 21, 1939 in Seattle, Washington.  He celebrated his 79th birthday on September 21, 2018.  

Robert served in the United States Air Force for 26 years.  He retired in 1985 and moved to San Marcos, Texas.  He worked for Gary Job Corp for 10 years.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Anita Jones; daughter, Lilian Piccolin and husband Travis Piccolin of Pflugerville, Texas; daughter, Michelle Teeler and husband Jason Teeler of Pflugerville, Texas; son, Eddie Jones and wife Priscilla Jones of Kyle, Texas; grandchildren, Ella Piccolin, Lance Piccolin, Aubrey Teeler, Christian Jones, Hannah Jones and Matthew Jones; sister-in-law,  Anelyn Jones; nephew, Steve Jones and wife Regina Jones; nieces, Trina Rounds and husband Steve Rounds, Kathleen Jones and Jessica Jones; his family and friends, Norma Like, Ma Teresa and Danny Bautista and their family, Lani and Art and their family, Mike and Florissa Shearer and family, Dave and Nilda Waugh, Bill and Linda McCutcheon and family, Mac and Rosie Delgado and family; and Robert and Kathy Donnelly and family.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am, Thursday, October 11, 2018, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in San Marcos, with Fr. Jairo Lopez, Celebrant.  A formal procession will depart from Pennington Funeral Home, at 7:30 am, Friday, October 12, 2018, for burial at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio.
