Rosa Quintero Rodriguez

Rosa Quintero Rodriguez, 99, beloved wife and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother passed away Dec. 17, 2018.

She was born on Aug. 30, 1919 in Doctor Arroyo, Nuevo Leon, Mexico to Genoveva Guillen.  

She is preceded in death by her husband, Soledad (Chole) Rodriguez, mother Genoveva Guillen Yanez, son Enrique Rodriguez, son-in-law Curtis Garcia and daughter-in-law Esperanza Rodriguez.

Rosa is survived by her children Antonia Garcia, Jose (Janie) Rodriguez, Roberto Rodriguez, Rosemary Rodriguez, Juan (Terry) Rodriguez, Linda (Todd) Brown, Delia Rodriguez, Tony Rodriguez, 20 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, 14 great, great grandchildren and 5 great, great, great grandchildren.

Serving as pallbearers, Curtis R. Garcia, Jason Cancino, Ruben Rodriguez, Michael Rodriguez, John Henry Ybarra, Enrique Rodriguez Jr. and Jack Vasquez.

The family would like to thank the staff of Kindred Hospice, Trinidad Home Healthcare and Girling Healthcare and all other caregivers for all the help and support.

Visitation will be held Thursday, Dec. 20, 2018, from 1 until 9 p.m. at Thomason Funeral Home in San Marcos, Texas. A Rosary will be recited that evening at 7 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 21, 2018, at St. John’s Catholic Church in San Marcos  Fr. John Boiko will be the officiant.
