Teresa Guerrero

Teresa Guerrero passed away in Kyle, Texas, on October 7, 2019, at the age of 67.  She was born to Delfino and Virginia Perez in San Marcos, Texas, on July 8, 1952.  She was a teacher’s aide for Austin ISD, and a hairstylist for 20 years. 

Teresa will be remembered lovingly by her son Phillip Del Guerrero, daughter Selina Guerrero, brother Delfino “Dino” Perez, her sisters Gracie Saucedo, Gloria Acosta, and Lupe Martinez.  She also leaves behind four grandchildren, Hector Ortiz III, Rene’ Perez, Abriana Perez and Octavian Guerrero; as well as two great-grandchildren, Ivy Ortiz and Lyrik Perez.  

She was predeceased by her parents, her brother Rudy Perez, and sisters Diana Torres and Velia Urrutia.

The family will receive visitors Thursday, October 10, 5-7 p.m., followed by a prayer service at 7 p.m.; and Funeral Service will be Friday, Oct. 11, 2 p.m., all in Pennington Memorial Chapel. 

Serving as Pallbearers will be Hector Ortiz III, Rene’ Perez, Bradley Urrutia, Johnny Urrutia, Samuel Perez, and Javier Saucedo.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Simon J. Martinez and Angelo Perez.
